Until next time…

Hello Everyone,

Wow, here we are 19 days post The One Hundredth Party. Thank you so much for coming! Due to the type and size of our party, we knew we would not have the chance to talk in depth to many of you. We do hope though, that there will be this opportunity in the near future. We loved every second and seeing how all did exactly what we had hoped. You were a big part of creating the evening, talking with old and new acquaintances, dancing and “cocktaling” (according to our bartenders you liked the cocktails).

Some important information:

  1. Thank you so much for the generous donations that many of you have made to the two organizations that we collaborate with, Mødrehjælpen in Denmark and Compassionate International Worldwide. Both appreciate these contributions very much.

  2. Hopefully, all of you had your picture taken when you arrived. We, of course, would like to share these with you. Our thought right now is to place the photos (as well as some from the party) in a Google Drive and send everyone the link with a passcode. If anyone prefers that your posed photo from the beginning of the party is not on this link, please contact Catherine (catherine.wittrup1@gmail.com). We do not know when the photos and videos are ready, but you will receive a text message.

  3. Now for results of the quiz  “Who knows Catherine & Hans best”. Many have asked and we had hoped to have the results at the party but our time schedule prevented it. Please find the questions and answers below. No team had the maximum score of 9. We had scores between 1 (two teams) and two teams got the score of 8…. aaaand the winners are:

Team 1: Captain Søren Jeppesen with members Jeanette Borges, Gitte Bunkenborg, Markus Zeitzen, Thomas Westh Olsen, Helle Bruun, Jimena Vilarino de Abeledo, Ute Hildebrand, Gunnar Håkansson and Søren Jeppesen.

Team 18: Captain Nanou Drouet with members Anders Skovgaard Larsen, Rasmus Bruun-Bech, René Beck, Torben Andersen, Pernille Huber Pedersen, Pernille Krüeger, Hanne Laursen, Susanne Ingemann and Nanou Drouet.

Thank you again for a party we will never forget.

❤️❤️,

Hans & Catherine

Dress Code

There are many questions concerning the dress code 😊.

See the video to get an idea of what NOT to wear.

Actually, we want you to wear exactly what makes you feel good, sexy, comfortable, chic, and more.

The dress code is “Festive Casual”.

However, remember that it is an Urban Garden Party, so we will be inside and outside.

For girls, this could be pants with or without jacket, nice jeans, blouses, T-shirts, tops, short or longer spring and summer dresses / skirts, flat shoes, shoes with heels (remember dancing), sandals or nice sneakers.

For the guys it could be pants, nice jeans, even shorts with great shirts with conservative or patterns, T-shirts, maybe a sports jacket, loafers with or without socks, more conservative shoes, sandals or “cool” sneakers.

Gifts & Speeches

No speeches, please.

Although we love speeches, skits etc, this party will be different. Instead save your words for the guest book that we hope you will write in at the party.

We are excited that you will be able to join us for this special evening and ask that you instead consider supporting a charity organization with a contribution. We believe the following make a difference in many lives and are some that we have supported for many years:

Donate to Mødrehjælpen

Mødrehjælpen is an organization assisting vulnerable families with single parents and poor financial capabilities through counseling and advice. This can be everything from helping a child to have a birthday party or Christmas present, to new clothing, summer camps, making meals together, and concrete guidance and support in changing a family's situation.

Donate to Compassion International

Compassion International is an organization providing sponsorships for poverty-stricken children in many parts of the world through medical assistance, food for their families, education and more. One does not need to be a sponsor and donations like these will be used for water wells and other general projects.

Practical Details

Happy May 1st, known as International Workers’ Day in many countries. Relax and read the following, no work involved!

Coming to and Parking at The Planet

Although we will be serving non-alcoholic alternatives, we highly suggest that you find other ways of getting to The Plant other than driving yourself. We recommend:

If you plan to drive yourself (although we do not recommend this), there is a parking area at The Plant but make sure you pay correctly due to parking fines.

SEE PARKING RULES

Arrival

A reminder that arrival is between 17.30 and 18.00 on the 18th of May. The kind staff at the door will mark your name off of the VIP list and our photographer is waiting to take your picture.

Dietary Considerations

There will be plenty of food and we have made certain that there is information concerning allergies and dietary restrictions, including vegetarian and vegan options. Of course bring what you normally would to a dinner party, (antihistamine pills, Lactaid, etc).

Security

You will be able to check your valuables, coat/jacket, and more at the staffed area at the entrance.

The Plant will have a security guard on duty as well.

Getting Home from The Plant

The Plant has an agreement with various taxi companies and there will be many of taxis to service you at the end of the evening, whether you want a drive to a station or to your home/hotel. You can also request The Plant’s personnel to book for you if you decide to leave earlier in the evening.

… and once again

There will be no opportunity for speeches, however please do sign our guestbook.

We do not wish to receive any gifts other than contributions to the charity organizations mentioned earlier. Thank you!

The Celebration

A final reminder:

Please no gifts (other than donations), and no speeches!
